Welcome to the World of Selmalda Great Danes where you will have the opportunity to view some of the super Danes owned and bred by this kennel since its introduction in 1982. Lesley and Adam Chappell would like to introduce to you through this page some of the Danes past and present who have contributed to making this kennel the success story that it has become today. A small kennel situated in the Peak District of Derbyshire, in the centre of England, which specialises in breeding Fawns of strength and quality with a temperament second to none. We tend to generally keep about six Danes at a time, all of whom live indoors as part of our family.

Not only do we breed winners but we also do sell them from time to time! We have been fortunate to have campaigned Danes bred at Selmalda to the highest honours for their owners, including Championships and C.C.'s (including CRUFTS!), and always offer a comprehensive lifetime service. Equally we are most grateful for the way the owners have reared and cared for their Danes and presented them in peak condition ready for exhibition.

Our breeding programme is extremely selective and we usually only produce one litter per annum from bitches of the quality you view throughout this site.
