Champion Selmalda Rainbow Warrior J.W. (Daneagle Elgar of Walkmyll x Daneton Louisiana of Selmalda) can be seen taking BEST IN SHOW over 216 exhibits at The Great Dane Club Championship Show, 1993 under Breed Specialist Roy Brown.

Bred by Lesley and Adam and born May 24th 1989, Bowie was the first home bred male from Selmalda and won a total of 11 C.C.'s and 10 R.C.C.'s with six BEST IN SHOW awards at Breed Club Championship Shows. He twice won the R.C.C. at CRUFTS with his last from the veteran class at eight years young and was only beaten by his younger kennel counterpart Lucas.

He gained his C.C.'s and R.C.C.'s from breed specialists such as Ron Lewis, Peter Russell, Jean Cameron, Gill L'E West, Elaine Hyde (nee Parish), Ole Staunskjaer (Denmark) and Ann Foxwell and highly regarded all rounders Monica Boggia-Black, Terry Thorn, Marion Spavin and Pamela Cross-Stern. Champion Selmalda Rainbow Warrior J.W. was twice The Super League Winner (South Western Great Dane Club) on points in 1991 and 1992.

Bowie always knew how to relax when we weren't watching - well nearly always!

Bowie was a powerful and sound male and was noted by all who knew him for his wonderful balance, both in stature and mind. We still miss you 'Bow'.
