Ch Selmalda Me And My Shadow J.W., a.k.a Kate, (Ch Vanmore Diplomat x Selmalda Have You Seen Her, D.O.B. 19/12/01) has had a phenomenal career thus far. Her gentle nature is a true reflection of her mother and she is a joy to own and live with. What can only be described as a fantastic puppy career Kate finished 2002 with her Junior Warrant at 10 months, a R.C.C. awarded at 11 months and TOP PUPPY IN BREED 2002.

Kate kicked the 2003 campaign in great style! At Manchester Championship Show Great Danes did not have specific breed classes and so an entry in the Not Seperately Classified Classes was required. She won her Junior Bitch class, Best Bitch and we were delighted when judg Doug Kitchener handed her the Best of Breed Certificate! Her first entry into the Group resulted in Andrew Brace awarding her Working Group 3 at only 13 months of age. The Petplan Junior Stakes were also judged by Doug Kitchener and he had no hesitation again in awarding Kate first from 27 Juniors competing. A visit on the third day saw Kate competing against the previous two days winners, the well known Weimaraner and popular Frenchie. Mr. Kitchener moved them and selected Kate as his overall winner and becoming the first contender for the grand final in October. Taking Best In Show the following week at the East of England G.D.C. Open Show Kate went to CRUFTS and duly won her Special Junior Class. Kate amassed a total of seven Junior Class wins at Championship Shows along with a C.C. and B.O.B. and 2 Reserve C.C.'s! Having moved up into Limit we were delighted that Kate won her 2nd C.C. and B.O.B. at South Wales, won two Special Yearling classes in the interim period, before winning her third and qualifying C.C. at the Scottish Kennel Club. The dream comes true... Champion Selmalda Me And My Shadow J.W.!
